My Princess
Just wanted to post these pics here... taken September last year using the Photobooth app of my Mac. She obviously had fun, and so did I. :)

Like Mother, Like Daughter
I hate it when I need to write and I can't find a pen, I need to wrap a gift and i need to still cut the tape with scissors, or worse, I can't find any pair of scissors at all! So when I found this desk organizer with tape dispenser at Fullybooked, I instantly bought it!
But as you can see on the picture, my (almost) 4 year old daughter just can't stop tinkering with it! Look, she's already removed the roll of tape from the dispenser. Give it a few more minutes, and everything would be scattered all over the floor!
So I bought CJ her very own School Kit! It didn't come in pink though, when we opened it at home, it was green. But she loved it even so! It includes a ruler, a set of pencil colors, a sharpener, an eraser, 2 standard pencils, a tube of glue, colored paper clips and a pair of bladeless scissors.
One more thing, my kit isn't too kid-friendly especially it has a tape dispenser which might hurt her fingers. This one just suits her best!
Now, if only it came in pink! Hahaha.

Fortunately, i saw this at National Bookstore, and I thought, this is it! This would keep my baby girl from playing with my organizer.

CJ's Doodles
My little girl is turning four this coming March 13. I can't believe how fast time flies! I'm with her 24/7 yet I am still surprised! Sigh. Now she knows how to write her first name without the dotted line guide!
We were early at Sabbath School so while waiting for the others, i asked her to try writing her name on the blackboard. She did.
Good job! |
The following Saturday, we arrived early again, she managed to draw this. According to her it's a turtle. Looks like it, right? Hehehe.

Vivienne Westwood x Melissa Shoes Ultragirl IV
I am really not a shoes-kind-of-girl. I can live with just slippers or sandals. (Nope, hindi ko idol si Lolit Solis! hahaha) Maybe, I rarely find shoes that are really comfortable. I've had so many experiences with shoes which just caused me pain. Literally.
Nevertheless, i admit to secretly wishing i could wear ballet flats even though I honestly know there is no way I can pull it off!
But hey, lookie, can i just say, I somehow did?! And the best part is, it's so comfy!
This is a dream come true!

SAHM Perks!
One of the many perks of being a SAHM (Stay-At-Home-Mom) is having to witness first-hand every milestone that my daughter reached. I love taking her pictures and videos and even if i wasn't able to record it, at least I was there when it happened and not listening to someone else tell me what my daughter accomplished. Hehehe.
Her latest video:
Really proud of her!

Life As We Know It
Holly Berenson is an up-and-coming caterer and Eric Messer is a promising network sports director. After a disastrous first date, the only thing they have in common is their dislike for each other and their love for their goddaughter, Sophie. But when they suddenly become all Sophie has in the world, Holly and Eric are forced to put their differences aside. Juggling career ambitions and competing social calendars, they'll have to find some common ground while living under one roof. Source
I was really crying while watching it 'cause I can't help but think of my own daughter. What if i suddenly die? Who's gonna take care of her the way I do? Who's gonna anticipate her needs even before she asks? I know how it feels to lose a mother. I lost my mom when I was 12. I know first hand how hard it was to live without a mom. Especially for a girl. I don't want my daughter to go through that. Of course, she has my family and my in-laws. Truly thankful for them. But whether we like it or not, it's just different when you actually have a mom.
That's why i'm really grateful to God for blessing my husband with a home-based job that can support our financial needs and allow us all to just stay together at home every day.
