Dinner at Badjao Seafront Restaurant, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan

After the Underground River stint, we had dinner at the Badjao Seafront Restaurant, the most recommended resto, just ask the locals. Too bad, we didn't really get to see the famous seafront. We should've come at daytime to actually enjoy the view. Next time!

You need to cross this wooden "bridge" to get to the dining hall.

We didn't make a reservation so we ended up having to wait a while.  The kids didn't seem to mind, though. As long as they could play, play, play!

The fruit boat needs a refill.

Finally, we were seated! Good thing, they already took our orders while we wait, so once we're seated, we didn't have to wait that long.

I didn't get to take real nice pictures of the foods we ordered, neither did I remember what they were. We're all starving, that's why.

The kids played with the table napkins after, haha!

The Guardian of the Fruit Boat, LOL!

And then it's time to go home!

Palawan, Day Two

That three-part post about our Island Hopping adventure was only from our first day in Palawan. On day two, we were supposed to go to the famous Underground River. But Hubby, Me and Boninay decided to pass. There was a lot of rock climbing involved, I was told and I don't think we were fit to do it with a child in tow. And hubby's not much a fan of caves, lol! Maybe when Boninay's a little older.  But, that's just us. The other kids, Fiona, 7, Larden and Ady, both age 1 went with their parents. L, apparently got scared when they were in the river since it was really dark in the cave. He cried and cried the whole time. Poor boy!:(

Anyways, since we didn't go, we spent the time for our little family bonding! Time to get some lunch!
The service car's driver of Ysabelle Mansion was kind enough to give us a ride.

We saw this on our way:

Look out!
This is where we decided to eat.

Really Huge Bilao and Palayok!

Lunch time was almost over when we arrived. They're supposed to close in an hour to prepare for dinner.  But, they still accomodated us.

Empty except for us.

Boninay, a picky eater, especially when she's out, only wants to drink Mango Shake. And Sago't Gulaman.

 All hers. Hehehe!

We ordered this Chicken Fingers with Honey Mustard dip hoping Boninay would at least have a bite, but no. She just wants her shake because it was a hot day. And because she's being picky :D

After our meal, father and daughter stopped to watch the Koi fishes...

That was fun! Bye! :)

It's More Fun in the Philippines, Part 3

From Starfish Island, we hopped to 2 more islands.

Welcome to Snake Island! According to Philippines Travel Wiki it got its name because it has an elongated shape. Mangroves grew on the southern end of the island while most of its northern section is made of white sand that stretches about 2km long. On high tide, most of its long sand bar sinks underwater.

Our last stop was at Pandan Island where we just made tambay. We were already tired, hahaha! This is also where you can rinse with fresh water after a whole day of swimming in sea water and before going back to the mainland.

The kids just played on the sand this time

Then we went back to Honda Bay where our ride to our place was waiting to take us home.

It's More Fun in the Philippines, Part 2

From the airport, a shuttle brought us to Ysabelle Mansion where we booked for a 3 days and 2 nights stay.

After checking-in, our tour guide came and it was time for some Island-hopping. By the way, it was my sister-in-law's sister who's in-charged of all the arrangements regarding the the tour package.

On to our first island...

Hey, lookie! Say hello to Mr. Starfish! And my Bro. Hehehe!

Hello, Patrick the Starfish hehehe

The cousins get refreshed!
Love these kids to bits

After having lunch, we rested a little then went back to our boat to head to our next island adventure!

It's More Fun in the Philippines, Part 1

Last May, 2011, my brother, Brian and his family came home from the States for a short vacation. It was also my first time to meet my nephew, Ady! As always, whenever they visit, we see to it that we go somewhere to bond and enjoy.

We went to Boracay when he went home in 2006, I was 10 weeks pregnant.

Then, for his 2008 visit, we went back to Boracay, now with Hubby and Boninay!

Fast forward to 2011...

This time, we decided to visit Palawan!

We booked our flight at Cebu Pacific. Here's Ady, checking his luggage in, hehe!

Boninay's 3rd plane ride, 1st was when she was in my tummy and 2nd was in 2008!

 Touchdown, Puerto Princesa!
