It's More Fun in the Philippines, Part 2

From the airport, a shuttle brought us to Ysabelle Mansion where we booked for a 3 days and 2 nights stay.

After checking-in, our tour guide came and it was time for some Island-hopping. By the way, it was my sister-in-law's sister who's in-charged of all the arrangements regarding the the tour package.

On to our first island...

Hey, lookie! Say hello to Mr. Starfish! And my Bro. Hehehe!

Hello, Patrick the Starfish hehehe

The cousins get refreshed!
Love these kids to bits

After having lunch, we rested a little then went back to our boat to head to our next island adventure!

It's More Fun in the Philippines, Part 1

Last May, 2011, my brother, Brian and his family came home from the States for a short vacation. It was also my first time to meet my nephew, Ady! As always, whenever they visit, we see to it that we go somewhere to bond and enjoy.

We went to Boracay when he went home in 2006, I was 10 weeks pregnant.

Then, for his 2008 visit, we went back to Boracay, now with Hubby and Boninay!

Fast forward to 2011...

This time, we decided to visit Palawan!

We booked our flight at Cebu Pacific. Here's Ady, checking his luggage in, hehe!

Boninay's 3rd plane ride, 1st was when she was in my tummy and 2nd was in 2008!

Boninay's Hello Kitty Sushi Re-ment

It all started when I showed my Boninay, 4, this video about Konapun from YouTube.

Since then, she also started checking out other related videos and came across this:

                                                              Aren't they the cutest?

Then last Wednesday, I was browsing my FB when I saw the Hello Kitty Re-ment Sushi in one of my friends' online shop!

We've been looking for it but could not find it in any store. It was actually a set of 6 individual boxes and I think in other countries it really is sold as one big set because there are parts in each box that when connected, forms the sushi table or bar. But it was already too late for me to realize that the online shop sells each one separately and it didn't come cheap. So we only got one of the six individual boxes.

This is how one box looks like:

This is actually just a small box. Looks big in the picture.

Box includes the following:

And 1/5 of the Sushi table

My little girl cannot wait to get her tiny hands on these tiny toys!

Time to assemble the tiny pieces!

How cute are they?

Kitty Soup Bowl and Fruit Platter

I wish it was sold as one set so Boninay can enjoy it as a whole, like this:

She is happy though, isn't she?

I love this girl.

Cuteness Overload!!!

Happy long-weekend, everyone! :)

Sweet Cravings Satisfied

Today, I craved for cupcakes. I would have baked some,  if only I have an oven. I have very little knowledge in baking, but I took an elective (Baking 101) back in college so I think I could pull it off. Hehe!

Anyways, here's what I did to somehow satisfy this sweet yearning for cuppy cakes.

I love it! My Boninay had two of it. I guess it would do, for now. :)

Blogaway (a Blogger client for Android)

This is a very nice app when you have the need to blog but you're on the go. It's FREE from the Android Market!

These are the screenshots from my Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000.

I am definitely lovin' it! :)

What's for Merienda?

My homemade Tacos!

I just chopped a bulb of onion, 2 pieces of tomatoes, shredded a head of lettuce and grated 1/4 bar of Eden cheese. Then, I browned 1/4 k beef in a little oil in a pan then added the star ingredient:

Finally, I assembled it in store-bought Taco shells,  and voila! It's ready! Let's eat!

Hubby-approved Tacos! :)

This Stay-at-Home Mom's Day-off

Since my hubby works from home and I'm a SAHM (Stay-at-Home-Mom), we seldom go out, except for groceries and a little bit of shopping every now and then. So I was really excited to see my college friends and their kids yesterday! They are both working moms, so this rarely happens.

It wasn't only me who's had real fun, by the way. My Boninay had the time of her life playing with her kinakapatid, Jaji. It's nice and sad at the same time to see them growing up so fast!

We went to Pepper Lunch thinking, "finally, we would know what the hype is all about!", but as usual it was packed, and there's still a long line outside so we just took pics of the kids and made a mental note to come back another day, LOL!

While the grownups were contemplating where to eat, they're busy posing for pics lol

While waiting for our other friend's family, these 4-year-olds wanna have some Bubbatea!

Then we set out for our quest to find a place to eat!

The Daddies were tasked to take care of the kids, while the Mommies catch up! Hehehe!

The highlight of our get together was meeting Maty whom we last saw when he was still a newborn! He's so big already and he's just turned 2!

Mommy Mina and Maty

We finally decided to eat at Shakey's 'cause these kids love chicken, pizza, pasta and mojos!

Nothing makes a mommy happy than seeing her child eating with gusto! :)
The faces of kids with satisfied tummies! LOL!

When they're both full, they decided to rest... on these La-Z-boys!

After resting, they're back on their feet and we continued malling!

Thank God for real friends! They may be few, but they sure make our lives more fun and meaningful!

'Til next time, mga Mares! :)

Thanks for the friendship! Sisters for life!
